Sheila aka SheSheBlog joins me at an open pottery session

Today is dedicated to those who have come forth and have made each day just a little better.

Some of you, I did not know before cancer struck...

And I find it ironic that it took something as traumatic as a disease to create a friendship. Good from bad, you know? Some of you, I knew. But our friendship waned over the years to the place where it was non-existent. This has brought us back together.

A rekindling. And "complete strangers" - I'm glad we are not that strange anymore. I 'm glad you have reached out and have shown me the definition of humanity. I'm glad you've stopped me in pottery class, at the grocery store, or have sent me an email or Facebook message.

Thank you, for demonstrating good in all of this bad, for making each day just a little better by creating a new friendship, or rekindling and one of old.

My Life...

"There are places I remember

All my life though some have changed

Some forever not for better

Some have gone and some remain

All these places have their moments

With lovers and friends I still can recall

Some are dead and some are living

In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers

There is no one compares with you

And these memories lose their meaning

When I think of love as something new

Though I know I'll never lose affection

For people and things that went before

I know I'll often stop and think about them"
