Ahhh. Music. Today's interactive Facebook - keep me going was all about music.
I cannot stand to be in a car without listening to music.
I miss playing my guitar - yet I know that if I pick it up, it will become highly addictive - and I won't be able to do anything else.
I grew up learning how to play guitar by listening to Neil Young. I play finger style, hate strumming, love classical as well.
And I listen to the Blue. BB King's Bluesville.
And I listen to Coffee House on XM.
My favorites and the number of times I've seen them in concert:
Jonny Lang (1) Dave Matthews (1) Neil Young (3) Nora Jones (1) Melissa Etheridge. (2) U2 (1)
And then: -thanks to the Egyptian, I've heard and enjoyed: Shemikiah Copeland. Marsha Ball, and OMG amazing...Alvin Youngblood Hart. Elvin Bishop. Tinsley Ellis.
But new music and/or artists I've discovered due to this post (and really like!)
#1 Lucas Nelson. I had no idea what I was missing! Thanks, Shelly Gilwald! Lucas Nelson
#3 Ray LaMontagne - I've listened to him, but not this song: https://youtu.be/SBSnR4ZP2MI
Which leads me to this:
Some of the song titles seemed to be messages...hmmm.
Carry On.
The Way Out is Through.
Save Me.
Hit Me With Your Best Shot. How Far I'll Go.
Shake it Off.
Thanks for interacting with me and sharing your favorites with me!
