CRUSHED IT!

I'm a goal setter - not a goal settler.
Initially, I thought just attaining a 12 minute pace would be awesome.
And then, I hit it.
Time to set a new goal: 11 minutes.
Busted it again.
Then - well, why not? Can I break a TEN MINUTE MILE?
And, once I do, can I sustain a good pace for FIFTEEN MINUTES?
Done. Did it.
So, what are my new fitness goals?
I'm certainly logging plenty of hours at Basic Recreation getting physically fit because
If I am physically strong, the mental strength is contiguous...
And it takes a whole lot of mental fortitude to combat cancer.
I'm lifting more than I've ever lifted.
I'm pleased with my back. (My back is back!)
And my arms are getting the definition I desire.
My quads are slowly sculpting.
My abs are there - I can feel them - and almost see them.
I am a work in progress.
I am meeting with Nutrition and Diet this week - because I know that DIET (what you eat and when) is a huge part of sculpting the body.
(I can hear someone saying, "Wait. What?" You should focus on just being, not SCULPTING your body!")
It's transformation.
Cancer has transformed me.
Now it's time for ME to transform me.
